We have partnered with Glenmore Lodge to also deliver PPE courses at their centre in Aviemore.

PPE Adventure Activities User Checks
All users of adventure activity personal protective equipment including climbing, mountaineering and caving equipment as well as water helmets and buoyancy aids such as independent instructors, outdoor education centre instructors, stores staff and mountain rescue team members.

PPE Adventure Activities Competent Person (RoSPA)
Those responsible for the use of, examination and maintenance of Personal Protection Equipment such as climbing, mountaineering, caving and watersports equipment. Technical advisors, safety managers, independent outdoor education providers, outdoor education centre staff, Mountain Rescue equipment officers, and those responsible for equipment stores will benefit from this course.

PPE Industry User Checks
People issued with Personal Protective Equipment for work at height (collectively called Personal Fall Protection Equipment) must, under UK regulations, know how to carry out pre-use inspections to ensure its safe condition before use.

PPE Industry Competent Person (RoSPA)
Those who require certification in the control, maintenance and examination of Personal Fall Protection Equipment. Rope access supervisors, safety supervisors and those responsible for worksites or stores will benefit from this course.

PPE Recertification
For those who have attended and successfully passed the Lyon Equipment 4-day PPE Inspection Competent Person course within the preceding three years. This two day refresher and revalidation course covers development in legislation, equipment inspection techniques and equipment selection.
