Who is this course for?
This IRATA Level 2 course is designed for experienced IRATA Level 1 technicians who have completed at least 1,000 logged hours and 12 months of experience at Level 1. It is for those wishing to upgrade to Intermediate Rope Access Technician or existing Level 2 technicians requiring mandatory revalidation through up-to-date IRATA Level 2 training.
Qualification
An IRATA Level 2 technician is capable of rigging working ropes, undertaking rescues, and performing rope access tasks under the supervision of an IRATA Level 3 Safety Supervisor. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in a wide range of advanced rigging and casually recovery techniques. To succeed, you must have a comprehensive knowledge of the IRATA Training, Assessment, and Certification Scheme (TACS) and the International Code of Practice (ICOP).
