Adventure Activities Access

This course is designed for anyone employed to work in outdoor activities, climbing wall operations and route setting or ropes course construction and inspection. The course will provide an understanding of working at height legislation and the use of appropriate work techniques for ascending and descending ropes, including rescue of a co-worker.

Technical advisors, safety managers, independent outdoor education providers, outdoor education centre staff, Mountain Rescue equipment officers, and those responsible for equipment stores will benefit from this course.

All users of adventure activity personal protective equipment including climbing, mountaineering and caving equipment as well as water helmets and buoyancy aids such as independent instructors, outdoor education centre instructors, stores staff and mountain rescue team members.
