Who is this course for?
Personnel who are required to work at height on artificial climbing structures, such as climbing walls, high ropes courses, activity centres, schools or leisure centres. These may include managers, instructors, floor walkers, reception staff, those carrying out equipment and structural inspections or maintenance, or route setters.
This training course is designed to provide you with the skills to enable safe and efficient access for work at height, rescue of co-workers and hauling tasks. The course provides an understanding of relevant applicable legislation, safe systems of work, and equipment use. Practical techniques taught have been selected to best suit carrying out workplace tasks on an artificial climbing structure. These include initial access, rigging, ascent and descent of ropes, work positioning, passing deviations, hauling and co worker rescue. The course provides a comprehensive foundation of knowledge, training, and certification for anyone working on or around climbing walls.

Duration: 2 Days
Venue: Flexible. Set dates will be run at regional indoor climbing walls, however course may be run at alternative venues by application.
